Juan Manuel Marquez Complaints Manny Pacquiao's Victory; Fans Create Scene at the MGM Grand After the Fight

Juan Manuel Marquez III expressed his disappointment on the decisions of three judges favoring the pound-for-pound Pinoy boxing champ Manny Pacquiao to win in their boxing fight on Sunday, November 13, 2011 (Manila time) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Judges Glenn Trowbridge (116-112 ) and Dave Moretti (115-113) scored both in favor of Pacquiao while judge Robert Hoyle called it a draw (114-114).

It’s the second robbery of the fights we’ve had, and I think this one was even clearer than the first,” Marquez, who believes he is the real winner, said after the fight.

It’s hard when you’re fighting against a rival and you’re fighting against three judges also.” he added.

Meanwhile, the controversial decision also made the Mexicans fans very angry.

There were a lot of Mexicans angry. They created quite a scene outside the arena,” according to ABS-CBN North America News Bureau’s Bev Llorente.

Llorente said that the Juan Manuel Marquez fans saw the match as a “lopsided fight, especially with the accidental headbutt and the blood on the lips of Pacquiao.”
